What Kind of Projects Do You Specialize In?
We specialize in custom home building and home remodels and additions including popping the top and adding a level to your home. We have tackled residential and commercial projects of almost every size and scope. We would love to discuss your needs and determine whether we are the best fit for them. We will only take on your project if we know we can provide the highest standard of excellence in expertise and workmanship. If not, we would be happy to make recommendations for other reliable contractors that might be more suitable.
How Much Do Projects Cost & How Long Do Projects Take to Complete?
We look at your project scope and all the details like materials and finishes. Then we add labor, and provide you with a comprehensive quote. Apec can help with design ideas and recommendations, but everything is an estimate in terms of price until the full design drawings and construction documents are received from your architect and engineer.
In terms of project duration, the design process may take the longest. If you say I want to add an addition to my house, you will need to start with an architect for design and an engineer for structural assessments. We have recommendations for architects and engineers if you need them.
The design process could take a few weeks to a few months.
We typically get involved after you meet with your architect a couple of times to help assess cost effectiveness and construction feasibility from design to actual building. Once we start building, the project duration will depend on the scope of the project and we will draw up and agree on a detailed timetable for project completion.
Is Your Work Guaranteed?
Lenny is a licensed General Contractor who has been in the construction business for over 25 years and has completed hundreds of projects. Apec workmanship is guaranteed for 1 year after project completion. Most engineering services are guaranteed for 2 years. Apec would be happy to supply you with references for similar projects where available so that you are confidant and comfortable with engaging our services for your next project.
